Adopt a Family is a pilot program of direct financial support facilitated by volunteers of Nova Ukraine. As a donor you may choose the final beneficiary of the donation. You can select a family or individual residing in Ukraine or a Ukrainian refugee family in the United States by selecting a family to “adopt.” After we send the funds to our recipients, they send us a photo or a personal message in return, which we pass along to our donors. In addition to the benefit of making a tax-free donation, the program allows you to experience the real impact of your contribution in a very personal and direct way.

My name is Irina and I am the mother of two children, Sofia and Mikhail. I can’t put into words how you helped me buy medicine for my child. My daughter, Sofia, has a disease, dolichocolon, and we are prescribed to take medication and a special diet on a regular basis. With your help, I was able to buy her medicine and fruit for the first time [since the war started]. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you do for Ukrainian women. 💛💙Irina and her children, Adopt a Family Recipients
Dear Nova Ukraine, immeasurable gratitude to you from our family!Family K, Adopt a Family Recipients
At the moment I have 4 children! And your help turned out to be simply lifesaving! [With the money you sent] our children bought food and clothes!
Thank God today, thanks to you and your benefactors, I was able to buy groceries for two weeks. And I bought new clothes for my eldest birthday boy. I received 8,770 hryvnias [$300]. On groceries I spent 3270 hryvnias [$100]. For clothes I purchased jacket, pants, and sneakers for the birthday boy. On Monday I will take with me two more of my children to dress them. I think that will be enough. Our sincere gratitude and we bow to you in thanks for saving us and not allowing us to perish. I am very grateful to you that thanks to you we are full and the eight of us will be able to go on. You are the most sincere people that have happened to us in our lives. May the Lord protect you. Amen.Kateryna and her 7 children, Adopt a Family Recipients
