Following Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko’s resignation amid a NABU/SAPO investigation into an alleged scheme involving officials in the Prosecutor General’s Office and fraudulent call centers, Nova Ukraine CEO Ambassador Erin E. McKee issued the following statement:

“We welcome this investigation. Accountability and the rule of law are essential to a well-functioning democracy. Nobody is above the law.

While we support NABU and SAPO, we also advocate for due process, evidence, and independent judicial review. And we expect the government to safeguard the independence of anti-corruption institutions.”
