Who We Are
Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Our Impact So Far
Since 2014, Nova Ukraine has run a variety of successful humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Since 2022 to date, we have raised over $180 million and have helped over 12 million Ukrainians with an operating expense percentage in single digits.

Like many moms with kids going back to school, Anastasiia has a lot to consider: school supplies, homework, first-day jitters. But in Ukraine, she also worries about how close the school is to a bomb shelter.
This is Liza and Anastasiia's story as they go back to school in wartime.
“We welcome this investigation. Accountability and the rule of law are essential to a well-functioning democracy. Nobody is above the law.
While we support NABU and SAPO, we also advocate for due process, evidence, and independent judicial review. And we expect the government to safeguard the independence of anti-corruption institutions.”
The program is a partnership between Bard College and KSE, with support from Nova Ukraine, Ukraine Global Scholars, and the Ukrainian Leadership Academy.
“We believe that the Language and Thinking program in Kyiv will provide an outstanding
educational opportunity for young, talented Ukrainian students who will benefit from the opportunity to delve into time-honored texts to help them find their voices at this critical moment in their lives,” said Bard Acting President Jonathan Becker.
It's also the first joint project under the Memorandum of Cooperation Nova Ukraine signed with the Ministry in June. Our support funds the work of over 180 independent experts who help evaluate every project applying for the program.

Nova Ukraine is proud to have supported the EcoFilm Festival, bringing together film screenings, lectures, and master classes, all shaping ecological thinking for the next generation.
The festival took place in MC6 Residence in Slavske, Lviv region. Highlights included a two-day youth intensive where kids shot and presented their own documentary about nature, and a talk from Michael van Burke, who has run an eco-festival in Germany for over 20 years.
Expect Ukrainian food and drinks, live music from Kalyna Bay Band, dancing, a photo zone, and a few surprises.
