Who We Are
Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Our Impact So Far
Since 2014, Nova Ukraine has run a variety of successful humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Since 2022 to date, we have raised over $180 million and have helped over 12 million Ukrainians with an operating expense percentage in single digits.

Last year, thanks to a Nova Ukraine scholarship in partnership with GoЙra!/Outdoor Learning in Ukraine, Lyubchyk joined his first GoЙra! expedition through the Chornohora Mountains. This summer, he returned for a five-day river trip along the Dniester and quickly became someone the younger campers looked up to. By the end of the journey, we invited him to return as a volunteer at another camp.
Lyubchyk graduated from school and plans to study cybersecurity in Lviv, but he already knows he wants to keep returning to the mountains and rivers, exploring Ukraine, and helping others discover the great outdoors.
We are proud to support programs like this, helping children in Ukraine grow, discover their passions, and simply enjoy being kids.
Currently, there is a critical shortage of such specialists. At the same time, tens of thousands of Ukraine’s defenders already require hearing restoration surgeries.
The first training course has already been completed with ten ENT surgeons from across Ukraine learning practical skills that will directly assist them in their daily practice.
30 more doctors will soon undergo the same training.
We plan to keep making a difference, one doctor at a time.
This month, Nova Ukraine is celebrating Ukraine's 35th anniversary of independence from the Soviet Union and the centuries-long history of culture that came before it.

The bill was retitled the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 in honor of the late Senator.
The vote comes on the heels of several devastating strikes on Ukraine in the last weeks that have killed and injured civilians and damaged civilian infrastructure.
The bill now goes to the House, where its passage remains in question.
That’s why the program Iron Youth, implemented by Nova Ukraine in partnership with Ukrzaliznytsia and funded by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation, stepped up to make rail journeys a little more bearable for children and families.
We’re investing in bedding to make sure train rides are comfortable, reflective wristbands to keep children visible during nighttime evacuations, thermoses to carry hot drinks, poncho raincoats for protection against the elements, and toys and logic games to help reduce stress.
