Who We Are
Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Our Impact So Far
Since 2014, Nova Ukraine has run a variety of successful humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Since 2022 to date, we have raised over $180 million and have helped over 12 million Ukrainians with an operating expense percentage in single digits.

This month marks 35 years of independence from the Soviet Union. We’re celebrating that milestone, as well as Ukraine’s centuries of history and culture.
Here are a few more facts about Ukraine as we celebrate 35 years.
Whether it’s bringing clean water to communities that have lost access to it, building solar power systems to keep infrastructure running, or building shelters to keep civilians safe, we know every action counts, every day.
Independence isn't just won. It's sustained.
The festival’s key initiatives include a documentary filmmaking course and the Roman Zhuk Film Award, which funds the production of new environmental documentaries in Ukraine.
On August 15-16, the Ukrainian Carpathians will host the premieres of three brand-new Ukrainian environmental documentaries.
Which one are you most excited to watch?
That’s why Nova Ukraine is partnering with the Ukrainian Charitable Alliance to address the problem head-on with the Path of Opportunities 2.0 project.
"As we implement recovery projects, we consistently face a shortage of qualified workers. That is why training skilled professionals is a vital part of rebuilding communities and supporting the country's long-term development," says Olena Drozd, Vice President of the BUILD Pillar at Nova Ukraine.
The project kicked off with a roundtable bringing together representatives of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Nova Ukraine, local communities, and many other partners.
