Who We Are
Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Our Impact So Far
Since 2014, Nova Ukraine has run a variety of successful humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Since 2022 to date, we have raised over $180 million and have helped over 15 million Ukrainians with an operating expense percentage in single digits.

On September 24, experts will meet at the Ukrainian Institute of America for a private discussion on “Crimes Against Ukrainian Culture as Part of Russia’s Genocidal War.”
The following evening, September 25 at 5:00 PM, a public exhibition and conversation, “History and Contemporary Significance of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra,” will trace one of Ukraine’s most important cultural and spiritual landmarks across history, memory, and the present.
The conversation is especially timely: the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was damaged during a Russian attack on Kyiv this summer.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister says Oleshky’s residents are “dying from hunger and cold,” and is urging world leaders at the UN General Assembly this week to pressure Russia into allowing humanitarian aid into the town.
The head of a UN human rights mission says the local hospital lacks fuel for its generator and sufficient food for patients. She says Oleshky has endured months without access to basic necessities and that discussions on an organized evacuation or local ceasefire to allow civilians to leave have made no progress.
