These tools keep patients and caregivers safe during procedures requiring X-ray imaging, empowering healthcare workers to give patients top-quality diagnosis, treatment, and care. The new aprons and collars protect patients and healthcare workers from X-ray overexposure in video urodynamics, the process of identifying and treating potentially deadly issues of the urinary system and bladder. It calls for specialists to stay by a patient’s side from the beginning of the imaging process to the end of the procedure. Long-term, hands-on care like this produces the best outcomes, but without protective gear, it risks exposing patients and doctors to dangerous levels of radiation. With the new gear, doctors in Ukraine can deliver best-in-class diagnosis and treatment, improving current and future outcomes across the national healthcare system.

GDANSK, Poland–Nova Ukraine today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture to solidify their collaboration to protect and promote Ukrainian cultural heritage. At the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk, Poland, Nova Ukraine CEO Ambassador Erin E. McKee signed the agreement with Tetyana Berezhna, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications. Ambassador McKee said: “Ukraine's cultural memory will survive this war despite Russia’s deliberate, systematic attempt to erase Ukrainian identity.

The results are in: Nova Ukraine has taken first and second place awards at the Charitable Ukraine’s 2025 Awards, Ukraine’s most prestigious national philanthropy competition. Out of 1,698 applications from nonprofits and socially responsible organizations across Ukraine and the world, Nova Ukraine earned high honors in two categories: This is the second consecutive year Nova Ukraine has earned top recognition from Charitable Ukraine. At the June 2026 ceremony in Kyiv, first-place winners received the iconic "Angel of Goodness"—a hand-crafted ceramic statuette that has become Ukraine's national symbol of humanitarian service. About the Competition Now in its 19th year, Charitable Ukraine is the premier annual competition honoring volunteers, NGOs, philanthropists, and socially responsible businesses making a difference in Ukraine and beyond. This year’s competition featured 28 categories, drawing applications from organizations working across defense, healthcare, education, culture, ecology, and international aid.

More than 700 delegates from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia gathered in Washington, D.C., on April 19–22 for the eighth Ukraine Action Summit to advocate for Ukraine. It was the biggest summit to date. Twice a year, the U.S. capital becomes one of the most pro-Ukraine places in America as advocates from across the country travel to D.C. for the Ukraine Action Summit. Many of them have no Ukrainian heritage at all, yet they are united by a shared commitment to ensure that Ukraine remains a priority for American lawmakers. "I call myself Ukrainian by choice. I'm wearing a vyshyvanka – this is my first one. I always wear it on special occasions, like the Ukraine Action Summit," said Craig Gresbrink, a delegate from California. Sashko Krapivkin, Nova Ukraine's Director of Advocacy & Engagement, said, "Every one of our delegates has a story worth telling. Among them are business owners, former congressional staffers, farmers, teachers, artists, and many others.”

“Oh my God, these are my favorite things,” says famed Ukrainian singer Ruslana, who won the Eurovision song contest more than two decades ago. She holds a large envelope decorated with traditional Ukrainian Petrykivka painting labeled Letters from Ukraine. Nova Ukraine brought these popular collector’s items to Eurovision this year to help promote Ukrainian culture. “We spent six months crafting this collection to curate a meaningful package,” says Sashko Krapivkin, Director of Advocacy & Engagement at Nova Ukraine. “We want it to narrate Ukraine’s story, inspire curiosity about its culture, and underscore that Ukrainian heritage has faced persistent threats for years due to Russia’s illegal actions.”

WASHINGTON–Nova Ukraine applauds today’s procedural vote in Congress to advance the Ukraine Support Act (HR 2913) to the U.S. House of Representatives for a full vote.
