From January to June 2026, Nova Ukraine provided new tools and training for the rescue workers who save lives in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in Ukraine. In partnership with Ukrainian Firefighters, a charity providing funding, training, and expertise to Ukraine first responders, Nova Ukraine provided rescue teams with a new course in all-terrain driving, preparing them to reach and help victims of Russian attacks with maximum success.
Nova Ukraine also donated 400 state-of-the-art firehoses to fire departments across the country, equipping teams to address the destruction caused by Russian attacks and develop effective rescue strategies that will serve the people of Ukraine for years to come.
All-Terrain Training for Rapid Response Teams

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service came together for hands-on training in the all-terrain and hazardous driving skills necessary to safely protect, rescue, and care for victims of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Attendees included teams from the Main Mobile Rescue Center of Rapid Response, as well as Mobile Rescue Centers in Sumy, Odesa, and Donetsk-Luhansk.
All training prioritized the safe handling of all-wheel-drive emergency vehicles in hazardous conditions. The curriculum included lessons on managing dangerous and uneven ground, overcoming natural obstacles, and operating safely with obscured vision.
Teams worked together to overcome challenges and develop new expertise in situations both reflecting wartime emergencies and the needs of Ukrainian communities in peaceful years to come.
On completion of the program, Nova Ukraine provided all rescuers with new equipment free of charge.

400 New Hoses for Ukrainian Firefighters
In wartime situations, seconds count and readiness is all-important. Nova Ukraine made a major contribution to emergency readiness with a donation of 400 firehoses to State Emergency Service (DSNS) teams in Sumy, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk. In places that see constant Russian attacks, fire is common and firehoses see daily use. Vital equipment wears out fast. Under our Build pillar, Nova Ukraine is committed to giving Ukrainian emergency services all the tools they need to protect our communities, now and in the future.

Firefighters Aid Provide New Tools for Ukrainian Rescue Teams
Firefighters Aid, a support organization for all emergency workers in Ukraine, recently provided a major donation of crucial tools and supplies. In 25 aid transfers to 19 different organizations, Firefighters Aid donated over 2,900 vital pieces of emergency equipment, including rescue gear and personal protective tools. The overall value of the gift was approximately 9.64 million hryvnia ($230,600). This generous gift helps Ukrainian rescuers to save lives and respond to wartime emergencies across the country.
Other recent donations include 1,200 pieces of climbing gear for high-angle rescue, 20 dry-rescue suits for water operations, 20 portable radios for instant communication under fire, in low-temperature conditions, and 20 MSA MotionSCOUT Personal Alert Safety System (PASS) devices, wearable motion-sensitive alarms that enable rapid location and assistance for trapped or disabled rescuers.
