Who We Are
Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Our Impact So Far
Since 2014, Nova Ukraine has run a variety of successful humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Since 2022 to date, we have raised over $180 million and have helped over 12 million Ukrainians with an operating expense percentage in single digits.

At least nine people were killed and 23 injured, including four children. Fires and destruction were reported across five districts of the capital.
Residential buildings were hit, homes and vehicles were damaged, and 35 people were evacuated from a five-story apartment building.
Ukraine urgently needs the air defense systems and interceptors capable of protecting its people. Delays cost lives.

This delivery includes over 2,000 items in total, including 12 medical backpacks, emergency medical supplies, and first aid training mannequins.

During a recent visit to the southern city of Mykolaiv, Nova Ukraine CEO Amb. Erin McKee saw firsthand how critical this support is. Since 2022, Mykolaiv has faced severe drinking water shortages. By supporting solar power to run the water systems even when the electricity is out, Nova Ukraine helps communities access safe drinking water.
Nova Ukraine has partnered with the Ukrainian Charitable Alliance for Project Path of Opportunities 2.0, designed to help connect employers and those looking for work in the Kharkiv region.
As part of this program, the Kharkiv Professional College of Construction and Industry is creating training modules based on employer needs.
About 70% of the curriculum is hands-on practical training, including skills like welding and working with metal, electrical installation, and carpentry. Organizers have committed to starting training even if only one person signs up.
Together, we can help the people of Kharkiv get back on their feet.
Amb. McKee and the team visited during an Open House, where they met with staff, parents, our partners at Future for Ukraine, and local authorities.
Today, 43 children attend the hub, with many more on the waiting list. Together with our partners, we're committed to helping even more children and families access the care and support they need.
Part of this shipment has already reached Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's national railway system, where the extinguishers will protect passengers and personnel on trains across the country. Nova Ukraine also purchased specialized equipment and protective gear for Ukrzaliznytsia's firefighting units in the Kharkiv region.
Ukraine's railways are a lifeline for millions of people. By strengthening the railway system's ability to respond to emergencies, that lifeline keeps running.
