OMAHA, Neb. —Doctors are also on the frontlines of the war in Ukraine, helping people hurt by the violence. A group of UNMC staff is bringing aid to those health care workers on the other side of the world.

With the help of the nonprofit Nova Ukraine and donations from colleagues, they’ve now sent two shipments of urgent medical supplies to a local hospital in Ukraine.
