Support Critical Recovery Efforts for Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv

A large group of civilian volunteers help remove rubble from a destroyed building by hand.

On July 8, 2024, Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital, was severely damaged in a russian missile attack on Kyiv. This attack was part of a larger bombardment across Ukraine that resulted in 41 people dead and 166 injured, including devastating blows to our most vulnerable – the children. The hospital itself has suffered severe and significant damage.

Okhmatdyt is a premier hospital in Ukraine where thousands of children, including those with cancer, undergo life-saving treatments every year. This missile attack is another illustration of the lengths russia will go to destroy Ukraine, its people, its sovereignty and its very identity!

A week has passed since the missile attack occurred and with each passing day, the situation grows more overwhelming and more dire. Without a question this attack is one of the worst since the full scale invasion began.
