Nova Ukraine Supports Independent Anti-Corruption Investigation, Emphasizes Due Process 

(KYIV, Ukraine)--Following Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko’s resignation amid a NABU/SAPO investigation into an alleged scheme involving officials in the Prosecutor General’s Office and fraudulent call centers, Nova Ukraine CEO Ambassador Erin E. McKee issued the following statement: “We welcome this investigation. Accountability and the rule of law are essential to a well-functioning democracy. Nobody is above the law.While we support NABU and SAPO, we also advocate for due process, evidence, and independent judicial review. And we expect the government to safeguard the independence of anti-corruption institutions.We support a full, independent, and transparent investigation of all individuals implicated. Any credible allegations of wrongdoing involving public officials - including officials within law-enforcement or anti-corruption institutions - should likewise be investigated independently and according to the law.The same rule must apply to everyone: investigate where the evidence leads, protect due process, and let independent courts determine guilt.”

Five Kilometers from the Front, One Month Without Power

How Nova Ukraine's Warming Project kept stabilization points running through the winter of 2025–2026 There is a place in eastern Ukraine, roughly five kilometers from the front line, where the electricity has been gone for a month. The wounded keep arriving. The medics keep working. And the lights stay on, because of a generator. Kateryna, who visited the site recently for Nova Ukraine's press office, described what she saw plainly. “Generators aren't just saving the day,” she said. “They're the only thing keeping this location powered so it doesn't lose electricity.” This is the work of the Warming Project.

Nova Ukraine Provides New Tools and Training for Rescue Workers Across Ukraine

From January to June 2026, Nova Ukraine provided new tools and training for the rescue workers who save lives in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in Ukraine. In partnership with Ukrainian Firefighters, a charity providing funding, training, and expertise to Ukraine first responders, Nova Ukraine provided rescue teams with a new course in all-terrain driving, preparing them to reach and help victims of Russian attacks with maximum success. Nova Ukraine also donated 400 state-of-the-art firehoses to fire departments across the country, equipping teams to address the destruction caused by Russian attacks and develop effective rescue strategies that will serve the people of Ukraine for years to come. All-Terrain Training for Rapid Response Teams Rescuers from the State Emergency Service came together for hands-on training in the all-terrain and hazardous driving skills necessary to safely protect, rescue, and care for victims of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Attendees included teams from the Main Mobile Rescue Center of Rapid Response, as well as Mobile Rescue Centers in Sumy, Odesa, and Donetsk-Luhansk.
