Vlad Dergunov is the Chief Operating Officer of Nova Ukraine, a leading U.S.-based nonprofit organization supporting Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. The organization’s portfolio spans infrastructure development, sustainable energy solutions, education, cultural initiatives, healthcare system strengthening, and civil society programs.
In his role, Vlad oversees operations, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and large-scale program management across the United States and Ukraine, ensuring effective execution and long-term scalability of organizational initiatives.
With over 20 years of experience in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across sustainable energy and infrastructure, construction, agricultural finance, fintech, software, and healthcare technology, Vlad brings a strong blend of entrepreneurial and investment expertise. Prior to Nova Ukraine, he held senior leadership roles in Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Development at Marqeta Inc., where he advised on M&A and led global strategic collaborations in financial technology.
He has a proven track record of scaling organizations and leading cross-sector initiatives that drive sustainable growth, institutional resilience, and measurable impact.
