Yevgeniia Bazaliy is a passionate Ukrainian artist and social worker deeply rooted in Ukrainian and Lemko traditions. She is a renowned Pysanky artist specializing in the intricate art of Ukrainian egg decorating.
Yevgeniia has received numerous accolades for her work, including a South Carolina Arts Commission Grant for her Pysanky workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has exhibited her work in various shows, including the Pop Art Show at the Richland Library and the Soda City Live show, sharing the beauty and cultural significance of Pysanky with a broader audience.
Dedicated to preserving Ukrainian heritage, Yevgeniia actively engages with the community through workshops, demonstrations, and collaborations with organizations like Lutheran Services, providing support and creative outlets for refugees.
