Scott Kelly, an American NASA astronaut, engineer, and former F-14 fighter jet pilot, is known for completing four space missions and setting a world record with a total of 520 days, 10 hours, and 33 minutes spent in space. This includes an uninterrupted 340 days in orbit, another world record. Mr. Kelly has demonstrated his support for Ukraine by raising over $3,000,000 to aid Ukrainian medics. During a visit to Ukraine in 2022, he visited the Okhmatdyt Children’s hospital in Kyiv, as well as the towns of Bucha and Irpin, witnessing the tragic aftermath of the Russian invasion and sharing about it on his social media. Scott Kelly is currently collaborating with Nova Ukraine as one of its Goodwill Ambassadors, focusing on supporting STEM education programs for children in Ukraine.
