On the third anniversary of the war, come together to fight for a cause that touches our hearts and unites us all.

“Bucha” is a powerful story based on a true story about a refugee from Kazakhstan who saved hundreds of Ukrainians from Bucha and other occupied Ukrainian territories.
This feature film symbolizes the ongoing fight, and we are incredibly proud to be a part of it.
The film won second place in the audience vote among feature films presented at the 40th Warsaw International Film Festival in October 2024. It has been released on Netflix in Poland, Ukraine, and other countries in Europe and is ranked first amongst top 10 films to watch.
Nova Ukraine organizes this screening in collaboration with the Leonid Foundation and with the support of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco (USA). The tour is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.
A panel discussion with Oleksandr Shchur, the producer and screenwriter of the film, will follow the screening. An auction will also take place. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Now, as never before, Ukraine needs our support. Being here in the US, we can play an important role in reminding Americans about the importance of winning the war in Ukraine, not just reaching a some kind of agreement. If the world agrees for russia’s demands and gives up Ukraine, it makes the aggressor even stronger, and russia’s boots would be at the door of those who thought that the war was far away.
That’s why on February 23 and 24, Ukrainians and our supporters worldwide will organize rallies to demand lasting and efficient support for Ukraine.
