The mini sessions happened on December 13th. The studio was set up and decorated to create an atmosphere of a cozy Ukrainian home – bench covered by a colorful blanket, baskets with ornaments, fruit and vegetables, Ukrainian traditional towels, pitchers and children’s traditional toys. Families started to arrive after 3 pm and Olga and Iva were styling them up to create harmonic images of the whole families. The colorful layers of necklaces on women echoed with their winter wreaths, and the patterns on their shawls and costumes. Their hair was braided and stylized with ribbons in a traditional Ukrainian way. Little girls were excited to play dress up, trying on different accessories and watching their parents to transform in front of their eyes.
