Our Pillars
Explore each pillar page to discover the stories behind the impact we’re creating together.
Ukraine’s healthcare system has been under constant pressure since 2022. Russian attacks have damaged hospitals and medical infrastructure, while the number of patients with severe and complex injuries has sharply increased. At the same time, many medical professionals are serving on the front lines.
From rapid response to long-term solutions, under the Build pillar, Nova Ukraine addresses critical infrastructure challenges that directly affect people’s safety and survival. We are often among the first to respond after Russian missile attacks, providing immediate assistance such as debris removal and materials to secure damaged buildings.
Nova Ukraine’s Empower pillar supports people affected by the war, including children of fallen defenders, veterans returning from the front lines, women from vulnerable groups, and low mobility individuals from frontline communities. Through Empower, we design and implement programs that help people recover, adapt, and rebuild their lives.
Nova Ukraine’s Advocacy pillar raises awareness of Ukraine’s needs, challenges, and the realities of Russia’s war. The pillar provides policymakers, civil society, and partners with verified, unbiased information to support accountability and justice, while increasing understanding of Ukraine in the United States and worldwide.
