Nova Ukraine invites you to Ukrainian summer picnic, an ethnic evening on July 11.
In Ukraine, ancient traditions have been preserved to this day. Ukrainians are a nation that respects their ancestors and passes on their traditions to their children, no matter where their children grow up.
At the picnic, you will have an opportunity to dive into the atmosphere of Ukrainian ethnic festivities, the same one in which our grandparents and great-grandparents celebrated. During this evening, you will enter the world that you have been told stories about. You will remember these stories – and learn new ones as well. You will meet mythical creatures and take part in a variety of customs. You will try yourself in jumping across a fire and in traditional fortune telling.
Nova Ukraine has also prepared culinary surprises for the guests. It’s not every day that you get to try Cossack kulish as well as freshly baked bread with a Ukrainian specialty salo!
We will be grateful if you bring flowers or pre-made wreaths (head-size). If you also bring tasty bites, our evening will be even more fun!
Dress code: colors of the national flag or elements of ethnic ukrainian dress.
