Vakarchuk public lecture at Berkeley

Sviatoslav Vakarchuk public lecture: How can Ukraine become a prosperous country in Europe?
Come to Berkeley to a free lecture by Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, Yale World Fellow, former People’s Deputy of Ukraine, social activist and lead vocalist of Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy.
Vakarchuk has actively engaged in charity and social projects for the betterment of life in Ukraine.
The moderator for this talk will be Marika C. Kuzma, Virginia Lew Professor of Music, Director of Choirs, UC Berkeley.
This event will take place in Maude Fife Room at Berkeley and will begin at 6:30pm. Please RSVP at http://vakarchuk.eventbrite.com and show up early as space is limited to the first 150-200 people.
This talk is organized by Nova Ukraine and the Institute of European Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
