Mustafa is leaving soon, so we all really lucky to have this opportunity to meet with him. He has recently visited Donbas and has a lot of firsthand information to share.
A former journalist of newspaper “Kommersant-Ukrainy” and the TVi channel, he is currently working with the internet newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda also participates in the “Stop the censorship!” (Ukrainian: ???? ???????!, Stop tsenzuri!) Mustafa was the one who summoned in a Facebook post Ukrainians to gather on Independence Square in Kyiv to protest their government’s decision to “pause” preparations for signing an association agreement with the European Union. It was the start of the Euromaidan protests which led to the overthrow of the Yanukovich regime.
