The Green Musketeers is a film about the Lithuanian revolution, 1988-1991. It tells the story of “the greens”, who, in Soviet times, was a very marginal group. When things were turned upside done they suddenly found themselves in the middle of the political turmoil.
It is a story of ordinary people, who in extraordinary times made a huge difference. And, about their leader, Saulius Gricius, who made it his life mission to change his country, and for that paid a very big price.
This is a rough cut, the director, the Swedish-born filmmaker and activist Jonas Ohman is open to comments and remarks, before the final version to be submitted to film festivals in 2015.
