By using Crowdchange, you can ensure all money from your fundraiser makes it to Nova Ukraine hands. We operate using a mostly volunteer staff with low overhead so funds raised in your community will go directly towards providing emergency medicine, food, shelter, refugee support, and basic necessities to the people of Ukraine.
Here are some quick facts about Nova Ukraine you can share with your community:
- Nova Ukraine focuses exclusively on Ukraine since it was founded in 2014. Since the war started we have shifted all our efforts to humanitarian aid.
- Nova Ukraine is a 501(c)3 organization and is governed by US laws. All or part of your donation to Nova Ukraine may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution, and your tax receipt will be emailed to you. More information can be found on our FAQ page.
- We do not help to equip active military, but instead concentrate on humanitarian aid and saving human lives. For example, Nova Ukraine supports Ukrainian defenders via hospitals, veteran rehabilitation and prosthetics, the emergency service, humanitarian demining, and other contexts outside active fighting.
- We regularly communicate and update our business and community partners on our progress through newsletters and on our website.
