He gave his first piano solo recital in Kharkiv Philharmonic Hall at the age of 11. Later he graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatory before moving to the United States in 2008. Most of his family still resides in Kharkiv. In recent years\, Stanislav started projects in his hometown by co-founding one of the major classical music festivals in Ukraine\, KharkivMusicFest\, as well as founding Nova Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra. In just 4 years of existence\, KharkivMusicFest presented performances of the world’s top musicians as well as unique projects including outreach concerts\, painted pianos on streets\, Festival Orchestra\, a classical music forum\, Children’s Orchestra\, among others. 2020 KharkivMusicFest had to be canceled due to the pandemic and most of its program was presented in the Spring of 2021. This year’s KharkivMusicFest was planned for the end of March. Its large-scale program had to be replaced with one concert in the subway shelter by only five musicians that stayed in the city. This year KharkivMusicFest was featured by Washington Post\, ABC News\, among others.

This protest originated in Latvia and Estonia by brave women who stood partially naked in front of the Russian Embassy\, with their hands tied behind their backs and bags over their faces. \nNow is your chance to fight for the women of Ukraine who were not strong enough to fight back. Now is your opportunity to give them a voice. \nWE NEED 2 TYPE OF PROTESTERS:\n1. Regularly dressed protesters with Ukrainian flags and signs pertaining to the use of rape in Ukraine as a weapon of war. DESCRIPTION:The Areté Dance Center is scheduled to host the Rise Up Ukraine Benefit Festival\, \na fundraiser for the people of Ukraine\, \n4-6:30 p.m. April 30 at the center\, 979 Fremont Ave.\, Los Altos.\nJoin us as we come together to raise money for Ukrainians impacted by the Russian invasion.\nMoney raised will benefit the local charity “Nova Ukraine” (a registered 501(c)(3) U.S. charity) with their humanitarian work in Ukraine.\n​Featuring Ukrainian baked goods\, light appetizers\, and drinks. Enjoy original art\, learn the Ukrainian national dance (Hopak)\, and dance to live music performed by The Song Gardeners.\n​Ticket Price: Minimum of $50/person (donate more if desired)

SUMMARY:Julia Blue: A Film Screening Benefit for Ukraine
DESCRIPTION:A unique opportunity to learn more about Ukraine\, support the Ukrainian people\, and see a great film. In 2020\, the Cambria Film Festival awarded its Best Feature Award to Julia Blue. Set against the 2014 war when Russia invaded Crimea\, this film follows a young photography student who falls in love with an injured soldier fresh from the war front. We are showing it for one night only in our theater to help those in Ukraine.\nIn addition to the film\, we will show a short pre-recorded interview with the film’s star who is still in Kyiv. Immediately following the film\, we will host a live Zoom call on the big screen with the film’s Ukrainian director\, Roxy Toporowych. Although she currently lives in Brooklyn\, she will provide updates and answer your questions on what is happening with the film’s cast\, crew and country.
