Do you accept donations?

Yes! We accept donations via PayPal, eBay, the ACH Network, Facebook, credit card, and other platforms. Please refer to our donations page to find information on how you can donate. Note: We temporarily do not accept Zelle or Venmo payments.

Can I donate medical supplies or equipment?

Yes! We are currently accepting medical item donations. Donate medical items here.

What are Nova Ukraine’s mission and vision?

Do you accept cryptocurrency donations?

Yes! Please use this page to donate in BTC, ETH, or other cryptocurrencies listed in the link.

Do you participate in any employer-matched donation programs?

We do work with Benevity and YourCause, among other matching platforms, but you will need to check with your employer directly to find out if they are participating. Check if your employer is in cooperation with Benevity, YourCause, or other matching solutions.

Are you an officially recognized charitable organization?

Yes, we are registered in the US as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN 465335435).  You can find our IRS profile here.

Do you have ground operations in Ukraine?

Yes! In addition to our large network of partners and volunteers in Ukraine, we have a Kyiv based office which maintains our on the ground presence.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. According to US law, all donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofits are tax deductible. Our IRS Deductibility Code is PC (public charity).

Can I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes, we will provide you with a tax receipt for your donation.

Why is my one-time donation shown as a recurring payment on my bank statement?

One-time donations made via Stripe may appear as ‘recurring’ on customer bank statements.

What percentage of donated funds goes to actual aid?

We are a volunteer-based organization, and our operational expenses are in the single-digit percent of the revenue we accumulate, meaning that the remainder is used to directly help Ukrainians.

Can I host a fundraiser for Nova Ukraine?

Yes! Please see our Get Involved page for resources and information about how to host a fundraiser benefiting Nova Ukraine.

Can I donate clothing or other material items?

At this time we are collecting only critically needed medical items. Donate medical items here.

We are not accepting any other material goods for donation in the US. Fundraising for purchasing critical items in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe is our current focus; however, we are carefully following developments on the ground and will adjust our priorities accordingly.

Please consider sending a monetary donation via our donation page here. We cannot emphasize enough how much of an impact your monetary donation, however big or small, will make at this time. Thank you for your support!

If you would still like to deliver materials items to Ukraine now, there are a few alternative options, thought they do require that you organize shipping and logistics yourself. Nova Poshta has several global warehouses including one in the US (East Hanover, NJ), and they have also recently started sending humanitarian aid through Warsaw, Poland, in collaboration with Dnipro LLC with collection in Roselle, NJ. MEEST company accepts humanitarian aid packages if you’re able  to pay $2.30/lb. Please use this link and see this telegram bot to learn about which items would be most useful to send. If you are able to ship internationally, there are more options in Europe (1, 2, 3). Additionally, independent same-day courier “Crisis Logistics Center” company  can connect you with carriers willing to deliver your shipments to Ukraine.

Can I donate to the military cause?

Nova Ukraine supports Ukrainian defenders via hospitals, veteran rehabilitation and prosthetics, the emergency service, humanitarian demining, and other contexts outside active fighting. There are many ways to donate to support one of these directions.
